Each year, we award $1,000 to 10 Nigerian undergraduates enrolled in U.S. universities who are facing financial and emotional challenges while studying abroad.

Studying abroad can be both exciting and overwhelming. Many Nigerian students in the U.S. struggle with cultural adjustments, financial constraints, and emotional isolation. The Nigerian Undergrads Mentorship Scholarship goes beyond financial aid—it provides a community of support where students can find encouragement, practical advice, and a sense of belonging. Through the “Meet Uncle Fred” Mentorship Sessions, students build connections, gain valuable life skills, and are reminded that they are never alone in their journey.
